We must begin our journey with cleansing of the heart and mind. According to Scripture, sin begins in the heart and mind (Matthew 15:19). Until your thoughts and attitudes are under God's control, you will never know the fullness of life in Christ.
It is no accident that Satan frequently targets our minds with inappropriate, sinful thoughts. The devil knows if he can develop strongholds in our thinking, he will easily lead us into sin and separation from God's power. In Proverbs 23:7, God reveals the enormous importance of fully surrendering our minds to Christ: "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he." (KJV) In other words, what you think is a huge part of what you are!
Prayerfully consider the following Scriptures and honestly answer all the questions. Remember, you can only be as filled with God as you are willing to be emptied of yourself. If you are completely honest and thorough in your confession, God will completely cleanse and transform your life.
